Stana, an experienced nurse is a rock star as she was the only one who could find a vein on a tiny infant to administer his medication. Dr. Hofstra and Dr. Young are my rocks and are always calm and tell it to me straight. Thank You Everyone, I will always be in your debt. My goal is to raise or personally donate $250,000/year to this organization. DONATE HERE

Music and Memory – If you haven’t seen the documentary Alive Inside, please do so – it is on Netflix right now. The story is of one man who uses music to unlock memories and minds of Alzheimer patients. You have to watch Henry. His reaction is beyond words and is just the beginning of addressing the needs of our growing aging population. This will affect us all. I have grandparents and parents whom I love more then they will ever know and I think that how our current society treats the elderly is a crime. While the film focuses on the incredible effects of music, the larger issue of humane care and respect of our elders hits home. DONATE HERE
Tubie Friends – A FANTASTIC organization that provides BUILD A BEAR animals for your kids who have feeding tubes, pic lines or ports. This really helps kids understand and deal with their journey. I currently donate a couple bucks every month and that will grow as this blog does. DONATE HERE
Anything that helps protect children. Anything. I can not wrap my head around the horrible stories about abuse and torture of children and infants. I do not understand what compels a person to have a child if they in anyway cause these innocents harm. It is a nightmare and I am sure I don’t know how bad it is.
Anything that has to do with Animals – obviously. The cruelty that exists in this world is disgusting. People who abuse their animals should be treated and persecuted as criminals. If I could save every dog in the world and let them live on my 500 acre sanctuary I would, but alas, my space is at max capacity already. Here are 55 Ways To Help Animals
